thoughts
If you want a garden bed that is higher off the ground you can add corner posts and increase the number of 2×4’s that you add until you reach the height you are looking for. A higher bed is easier on the back and could be as high as 40 inches or waist height. You can design your container garden to meet your specific size or dimensions but this is one that is designed for a smaller garden. You will need a space of 8 feet X 16 feet. There will be enough wood to construct (1)- 4 x 8 foot rectangular bed for planting. Pick a location with 6-8 hours of sunlight, good air circulation and near a water supply.
