Notes
Talk about easy!! This is a dairy free ice cream full of warm and spicy flavors and of course a super golden color. You can substitute any “milk” that you prefer: Almond milk, cashew milk, coconut milk, really anything that you like they all work really well. Not to mention, it is rich in anti-oxidants and for those of you who are dairy sensitive this is a win win. I was a bit skeptical using Xanthan gum but then I read up on it and found out through Healthline that is is an all natural food thickener and is made from fermented sugar. It gives texture and smoothness to ice cream.
On a side note, if you mix all of the spices together and store them in a jar you can steam “milk” with them and make a terrific turmeric latte warm or iced.
