Get Well Soup
4 quarts
Ingredients
4 quarts Chicken or Vegetable stock
3-4 tablespoons Olive Oil
1/4 Vidalia Onion, sliced
2 Garlic Cloves, minced
3 Carrots Sliced
3 tablespoons fresh Ginger, minced
1/4 cup Dulse Seaweed, thinly sliced
6 Sage leaves, whole
1 cup White Navy Beans
2-3 teaspoons Turmeric Powder
Salt and Pepper
1 1/2 cups cooked Quinoa
Instructions
Heat the Olive Oil in a large stock pot add the Onion, Garlic, Carrots and Ginger and sauté over medium heat until tender.
Pour in the Stock, then add the remaining ingredients.
Let simmer for 20 minutes. Season to taste.
Spoon some Quinoa into bowls and ladle the soup on top.
