Any combination of fruits can make a wonderful base for popsicles, drinks or dessert sauces. All you need are your favorite fruits, some type of liquid such as coconut water, sparkling soda water, juices or for a fancy “hard” treat, rum or vodka that will transform your drink from sublime to divine!!
Paper cups or popsicle molds, ice cube containers or candy molds can all be use to freeze your puree. It can be simply poured and scooped out with a spoon as a refreshing ice, cubes or candy molded shapes can be dropped into a sparkling drink for added flair and fun. Best of all, a plain old fashioned popsicle couldn’t get any better.

thoughts
I like using fresh fruits whenever possible. If you want them frozen simply place cubed fruit or single layer the berries in a container in the freezer until they are frozen. Or if you want to buy fruits and keep it simple, maybe try organic cut-up fruits they work just as well.
This puree can be used for a delicious smoothie, small ice cubes or a dessert sauce. The recipe will make about 6 (6oz.) drinks. If you want to make it “hard” add either vodka or rum for an extra kick!
On a healthier note, grated fresh ginger, fresh mint, lemon juice and zest will make a refreshing cleansing drink.
