Pink Rhubarb joins CCNS for a program in food and cooking. Children will celebrate in the classroom and the kitchen ideas that teach them about food, cooking 101 and the art of using their hands. Ideas and skills will be taught to help promote healthy living and creativity with simple cooking skills, food tastings, identifying fruits and vegetables, and activities. Food projects include fruit cooler popsicles, ice cream, soups and salads and more to learn the art and joy of cooking. Here the kitchen becomes a place where science, creativity and play come together to make fun.
The pink rhubarb is a culinary journal that explores food, edible education, gardening and creativity for children and adults of all ages.
